Abstract: HFRD-33.0 is a 4 x 4 crosspoint switch capable of switching any of four HDMI™ and DVI™ inputs to any of four outputs. This design can also switch the Display Data Channel (DDC). This reference design supports rates up to 1.65Gbps. HFRD-33.0 uses several Maxim devices to implement various functions including cable equalizers, 2 x 4 HDMI/DVI switches, and a low-speed channel switch for DDC routing.
