Maxim's Phoenix Design Center
Maxim's Phoenix Design Center is located in Chandler, Arizona, in the southern portion of Metropolitan Phoenix. Nicknamed "The Silicon Desert," it is one of the fastest growing high-technology manufacturing cities in the west and one of the fastest growing communities in the nation. It is graced with near-perfect weather featuring more than 330 sunny days a year and an average temperature of 85 degrees.
Chandler's population is about 225,000. Housing is very affordable and the schools are excellent. Because of the outstanding educational programs offered in Chandler, almost all of the district schools have been cited for excellence by outside organizations, including the Arizona Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education. Arizona State University is located approximately 10 miles from the Maxim facility.
There are seven different mixed-signal groups located in Chandler: Portable Equipment, Signal Processing and Conversion, Wireless, Standard Products, Test, Customer Applications, and Corporate Applications.
